music and poetry for sensitive birds

Prompt:

Choose a color and write a poem. How you use the color in your poem is entirely up to you. You might choose a color that elicits a great many memories; you might focus on the imagery, implied emotions, or random facts about that color.

Consider: what are some tangible iterations of that color; what are the ways language uses that color to have multiple meanings dependent upon context, what color first comes to your mind and why, what memories or ideas are associated with that color.

If you find you’re stuck, begin by making a list of things that are that color. Use descriptive language to describe the particular shade, qualities, or characteristics of the color.
